    Default CTD during Enemy Turn

    Hello everyone.
    First time I make a post here even though i've been lurking around for some time.

    Anyways i'm having issues with my campaign as at the end of turn 165 my campaign crashed during enemy turn (either during the turn of Kingdom of Leon or Hungary just after.)

    What i have running

    Stainless Steel 6.4 with RR and BVR2
    I am running a steam version of the game which is fully updated.
    I have of course followed to the letter the instructions on how to install stainless steel with steam.
    This is not the first CTD I have had during the campaign but it is the only one that happens each time at the exact same moment.

    Concerning the whole : Sigma preserve us, Chaos has taken over thing it is because i had Call of Warhammer installed at one point and despite uninstalling it somehow this little sentence remained.

    I'm hoping someone with more talent can help me solve this issues as i'm doing quite well in this game and I would really hate to abandon after so many turns and despite having looked at what other proposed such as this thread : http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ing-enamy-turn
    I have not been able to fix it.

    turn on follow ai movements (and off fog of war) and whats the last thing that happens before the crash. Stop that from happening via console commands and you should be good.

    I've done what you said and it appears the problem is being caused by the Kingdom of Léon moving some troops around (two different stack cause the CTD as far as I've seen).
    So I bought off both stacks and the game continues to CTD me. I am honestly at loss here as I have no other leads as how to fix this (I would prefer not to destroy the whole faction to prevent the CTD).

    Nope after them there still is Hungary and Aragon. I'm actually concerned that maybe it is the iberian peninsula map that is bugging out since after observation once i got rid of the first 3 stacks a third stack seemed was seen moving out just before CTD ... might want to destroy all their stacks ^^

    So a quick update.
    I used the console to destroy the Léonese faction but my game still crashes (during the novgorod turn now).
    I must admit to being truly mystified as to what the hell is happening ...
    Any further help would be very welcome.

    nothing game breaking or too weird (other than the chaos stuff). Have you tried renaming that ss6.3 install like (ss6.3 original) and installing a fresh one and moving the save over?

    Also post your ss_setup settings and your save file and i'll try to see if its your system instead of the save file by running it on my comp when i get the time. (i don't know when this will be though...so i'll try to help out in other ways till i can get to it).

    So I have done what you suggested (installing a fresh one and moving the save over but it continues crashing).

    As for my SS setup I have SS3 patched to SS4
    I have the following enabled
    - Savage AI
    - Byg Grim's Reality 2
    - Longer Assimilation
    - Early Era campaign

    Also my game M2TW is on steam and I am running the game on windows 7.

    I have attached the save (in the rar file and a picture of the ss setup just in case).
