Conquered the New World yet??

So... who's gone far enough to go take over the Americas yet? If so:

1) Screenshots!

2) What event 'triggers' the discovery? Is it the explorer's guild (??) or something?

That's the most disgusting this I've ever seen (no hyperbole). I mean, wow, that's really, really egregious. If they were going to include the New World, they should have actually made the map extend to the New World, not placed the Americas directly south of Greenland (approximately).

Seriously, I want to throw up; I feel dirty just for looking at those atrocities.

heh ofc by boat but when i click where "the new world" is suppose to be with my boat it marks a cross, can't go there :s and im at 50 turns left

I think you need an explorers Inn or something. I'm not sure I think i read that somewhere.

Well, I looked, but haven't found the proper way to do it yet - bit mysterious, really. Would really like to know -see some hidden resources that sound right, could be a guild - upgraded ships? Dunno. I just know they cannot cross the deep sea in ground_types.

just hack the map. BigVanillaMap (warmapsize) is 80% done, release on Sunday. Proper Americas will be available in a few weeks, at the most.
