    Default Political incident costs

Just to point out, the costs associated with political incident pop up notifications rise with your wealth. For example preventing an adoption costs about 50% of your treasury. I am not a fan of the use of %s as it punishes savers, however this is not the main point of this post.

The main point is you can allow the political incident (e.g. adoption) but then go in the politics screen and easily steal away one of the opposing family members for just a few 1000. This low figure seems to be unrelated to your treasury.

Basically all political costs should all be calculated in the same way. At the moment they're not and it's causing huge cost discrepancies, which further spoils an already oversimplified area of the game.

    Thanks

That's what happens to me, allowed adoption so I don't lose 16k and buy back for 5k or less if I wanted

Yes, but this costs you influence. Makes it harder to prevent civil war and keep your influnce at the right level to get the nicest bonuses, which you really need in late game with a big empire.

I just did that "glitch" today, and yes it shows that the political cost are yet to be overhauled if its possible.
