Default About Confederations and some strange cavalry talents.

No matter how strong I hit my foes, I still can't force one of them, even the weakest, to join a confederation in my Suebi campaign. Any suggestions?

    ... also:

Germanic Scout Riders and Scandinavian Light Cavalry have Guerrilla deployment and Stalk abilities. I can be somewhat ok with the former, but the ability to move unseen on the back of a horse?! and a norse one at that!

I cant tell specifics for confederating except its best done when they also kind of love you (hard to pull if you killed them too much ).

On cavalry I understand your point, especially stalking in broad daylight open field!...
But their stats are pretty sucky and I understand that they have such abilities to make them more relevant balance wise, else they could only scout and its not really useful.

As far as I can tell, the best way to have a faction join a confederation is if you have a mutual enemy that's stronger than the faction you want in the confederation. Also helps if you're stronger than them too.

I am currently playing a Suebi campaign and enjoying it a lot. I have managed to make one faction join my confederacy (The Marcomanni), but that was because they were at war with about 6 factions and about to loose their last settlement. The success rate was High and they gave me 2,000 gold for it. Apart from that I havent really played around with the mechanic, except for when I am about to take an enemy factions last settlement but they never seem to want to accept, but I guess just play around with it and offer people money and see what happens.

It's weird, as Averni I mostly was at peace with the other confederation possible factions, we went on a massive celtic expansion, and gradually I got the others to join me through massive bribes (I mean 20-50k .) but it' weird, some times these 2 to even 4 region factions join, but those 1-2 refuse no matter how much money.

it's a tricky system, in general they either need to be really desperate or you need to have great relationship with them (on top of being really strong, obviously.)
1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....
