Can't do a 2v2 Without Crashing

So I'm trying to create a scenario in which Jerusalem is besieged by the Seljuqs and Fatimids and the Crusader States are trying to defend the city. I made 2 Crusader Armies on the defender's team and a Fatimid and Turk army on the other team. I could've just done a 1v1 but it didn't feel epic enough. That and I wanted all the Holy Orders to make an appearance - it wouldn't feel right without them.

I'm running a $1,000 gaming laptop. My original computer was a beast but its hardware was a bit outdated, but it far exceeded what you would need to experience Medieval II and this mod in full HD glory. I ran the mod fine on my old computer but on this one just from playing the campaign a little its amazing. But I still can't get this 2v2 Siege to run. I've even exceeded my ram capacity on the exe's and everything now to see if that helps and that makes the game even faster. But I'm still unable to get this one battle to launch and it aggravates me to no end! 2v2's work just fine on the campaign even! But what's going on here? Anyone have suggestions?

Your hardware specs are irrelevant to what you 're trying to do.

Are Seljuks and Fatimids allied to each other when the siege is about to instigate?

is this a custom battle? if so those are broken. try grassy plains, if that doesn't work your out of luck.

Yeah, they're allied. I checked; it's a 2v2.

What? Custom battles are broken? How can something that critical to an RTS game be broken? I do Custom Battles all the time and don't have problems and I have the replays to prove it. But this one doesn't work.

its an stainless steel thing im pretty sure, something to do with units/factions or something i don't remember.

(i looked it up for you, i must be in a good mood lol)
Anyways, its due to custom mapping in the campaign for stainless steel so things don't match up with vinalla (read custom battle maps) maps anymore.

There's ways around it if you do the legwork/understand it but I haven't done it myself so can't help more than pointing you in the right direction:

Hmm, I have no problem with custom battles, I've done yesterday 4 custom battles (also 2 vs 2, all of them). When I tried the 5th one, I got the error "M2TW encountered an error and must now exit" or something like that, but the first 4 battles went fine. Btw, all 5 of my battles were not sieges. Sieges work fine too, but I've only tried them 1 vs 1.

I guess 2v2 sieges are just too demanding.
