Heres a review from CVG. It sounds like a reasonably balanced one, yet they moan about some things, like cavalry, that indicates they are not using them correctly.

A very fair review and he raises a very good point about seiges and the fact that the basic game mechanics of Rome (and as such M2TW) are in danger getting slightly stale. The next TW really needs to revamp the series completely.
