Low poly assets for game use, using the pipeline of creating high poly objects and then baking them as normals onto a low poly version. I then exported the low poly assets into the Substance Painter to generate textures and rendered with Iray. Made for my character in one of my university units.

Looks promising
I'm waiting to see it more evolved. I'm just wondering about the shield which seems to be a bit to curved and its hedge too large. That gives the feeling that it's not right proportioned compare to the armour
But it might be due to the fact that there's no body yet

Like Lifth said, it looks very promising!
Just a quick model I made and chucked into substance painter. Not totally happy with the textures at the moment but I'll play around with that more tomorrow.

From the sword I made previously, I've decided to create a small scene with it. I'll now focus on the environment and add some grass as well as other objects. I also need to touch up on the scutum texture as its not complete yet.

Come on Pal, it doesn't need to be "realistic". It depends on the purpose of its creation
I look forward to see the scene completed as it looks promising.

Thank you
No its not for a game, its just CGI it has no real purpose other than for the development of it to improve my skills and be used for portfolio purposes.
Its a rifle because you hold it with two hands, I've already done a pistol which was the original "Manmelter" design, the rifle was something I made up as a step up from the pistol.
It's a sci-fi weapon, the purpose of that genre is so that anything that is imaginative or makes use of speculative fiction falls under it. I do appreciate your comment though.
Yeah I should have an update over this weekend.

Warhammer Dwarf Axe
An axe I created inspired by one of the concept works for the Total War: Warhammer game.

I've done too many weapons now, I need to do something else. Anyone have any ideas? Or something they'd like to see.

And this is from the Game of Thrones.
My remarks:
a) I'm guessing the bow main has parchment wrapped around most of it's body as a means of keeping it dry.
b) The tips of the bow where the string is fastened are made of a material harder than wood, looks like it's horn in this picture.
c) The bone tips are fastened to the bow main with what seems to be leather strap.
d) Also of leather strap (or rope kept dry with leather strap) seems to be the foot loop (in the front) the secures the bow to the ground while it's string is knocked.
e) L-shaped trigger lever.
f) Decorated area on the side of the stock, probably a removable panel for the maintenance of the trigger mechanism.
