    Default Med2TW encounteres unspecified error.

Hi! I've finally got the game, but I have this problem, and I had it quite often with the Med2GoldDemo too.

I will give you a link to my system log. I don't think it should be normal that it is reporting about so many missing files...

I give you another link too in case the first one wont work.

I'll appreciate all help I can get!

What are your system specs? Did you install it in the default directory?

Yes. I installed it in the default directory, it seems btw that I am not the only one: Look here: http://p223.ezboard.com/fshoguntotal...icID=156.topic (I am the user Luximinus on that forum)

Here is something I wrote there:

Hmm, I am only getting a blue bluescreen, no text on it. But I often get bluescreen but it depends a lot of what game Im playing, but when I get a bluescreen with text it is often the ati2.dvag or something it mentions. But not everytime, It doesnt get better when I ended the game once on the correct way, the only thing it helped for was saving the settings and I got a file named keys.dat in the preferences =/

So we gotta find out what we have in common, to find out why.

Im pretty sure that I wrote the CD-key correctly.

    But here is my DxDiag:
    http://home.no.net/tspe/downloads/DxDiag.txt
    www.orresnei.com/preben/downloads/DxDiag.txt

I shall try to campare with the others that have posted here and findt out what we have in common.

i changed the directory for mine, is that the possible cause for my ctd/restart's?

i get the same error message "M2 encounters unspecified error"

"It's not always possible to do what we want to do, but it's important to believe in something before you actually do it"

Well your blue screen as I understand it is not M2TW specific and applies to other games. Now I would update your ATI drivers and see if that helps. Make sure you uninstall the old drivers, restart and then install the new drivers.

I get the same error in the vanilla M2TW but it starts up Kingdoms campaigns just fine, only I can't do battles. Upgrading to the latest ATI drivers is what broke it but now when i downgrade back again it still doesnt work right. I can play kingdoms campaigns and just autoresolve every battle but I really wanna FIGHT!!

Edit: Here is my system.log when i try to start up vanilla M2TW.
