Re: Votes for a Duke
The lord of Izar accepted the incoming transmission, recognising the ducal heraldry of his overlord's House. "Good day to you, Lord Karr. Of what do we owe the pleasure?"

Re: Votes for a Duke
"Politics my lord. Currently, as you may know, my father is running as Lord Admiral. He would appreciate your vote, enormously."
Ooc: +4 for charisma, 10+ for overlord and +4 for being 4 ranks above him.

Automatic success.
The lord nodded in ascent. "Why of course, lord Karr. Izar has long supported your father and that won't change now. I will contact my proxy on Mars and have him cast our vote in the Landsraad appropriately."

KarrKarr then bids the Lord Izar farewell, before contacting the lords of Spica and Jalta at the same time, just so they don't miss the vote.

The Lady of Spica answered the hologram from her seat in the Landsraad and answered in a hushed whisper. "Ah, hello there Lord Karr. I presume this is about the upcoming vote on the Lord Admiral position? I've been following your lord father's actions and was already intending to back him fully, have no fear on that score."
The Lord of Jalta answers the call from his home residence and receives Lord Karr with some curiosity. It wasn't every day he received personal contact from his liege's son. "How may I help you m'lord?"

Re: Votes for a Duke
Karr Cogaíoch nods to the Lady of Spica gratefully, promising to thank her properly once the election was won.
"My lord of Jalta, I am contacting you to request your vote in my father's bid for Lord Admiral. He cannot contact you himself, due to being in the Landsraad. So I have been asked in his stead to search for any extra votes."

((Made a small mistake, I'm meant to be talking to Thrax, I got mixed up with the map., but I might as well do both while I'm at it.))

"Because he is the best man for the job, he isn't from a republic and he is the closest candidate to you. This area's defenseman will probably be prioritised more than the defenseman of other regions, simply because he lives here, that is good for you, unless you like bullets for breakfast."
