Where do you park your diplomats to pick up chicks - I mean princesses - for marriage to your heir? Is there a particular city where they head to more than others?

Hilarious thread title.
Princesses usually roam around the map, usually visiting other factions as diplomats themselves. You might see princesses coming to your realm for diplomacy frequently. Or you can simply get a diplomat to patrol around borders of two realms - once a princess crosses the border in order to run to the nearest city for diplomacy, you may intercept her.
Princesses only hang around for a while before being married off though, so you'll have to find one fast enough before she goes away.

If the faction has an eligible princess, and you have an eligible faction heir or ruler, any diplomatic contact with the faction should enable negotiation for a marriage alliance. You don't have to have a diplomat talk directly to a princess -- making contact with any faction settlement, army, or whatever should work.
Isn't it the opposite? I mean, if your princess engages diplomacy with a foreign faction (settlement, army and whatever) and the faction has a suitable prince you get the "Marry Princess with Faction Heir" among the offers you can make. Yet, I'm pretty sure I never saw the "Marry Faction Heir to Princess" offer unless you directly "talk" to a princess. Am I wrong?
Edit: Btw, to answer the OP, why don't you try parking your diplomat in Northern Italy? Usually, there's a lot of agents moving there, since it is basically the "crossroad" of Europe. Or, to a lesser extent, the Pyrenees (the three Iberian factions in SS should send a reasonable number of princess up that way)

Does keeping a character in a brothel town give him bad traits? I think that was in RTW, that game had WAY more traits and roleplaying things.
I think that's the case as well. You get the option to offer to get your heir married to princess only when either the princess herself visits you, or you send a diplomat to her. And you can't get her married to a son, it has to be an unmarried heir.
Balkans see a lot of Princesses roaming around too once someone succeeds in a Crusade and has some lands in the east.

How do you go about marrying off your 54 year old crazy, murderous, dreaded King when your at war with 2/3rds of the world? Flowers and chocolates?
I wish they'd invested more time into the speeches for the other factions outside the first five factions the game lets you play when you first start it. I just finished a game with Venice which is one of those five factions and the speeches were hilarious. The English and French ones are awesome as well but I've never really played as HRE.
Now I'm playing as the Moors and it's normally a single sentence referring to the sultan or allah and that's it. BORING. Also none of my generals get drunk traits either.
I've found a few hanging around Rome.
