*Help* Closes when the loading image comes up

So I installed stainless steel mod today, and I tried to start. The thing is, it crashes without any error messages and it crashes when the loading image comes up. I installed it on the gold edition of Medieval Total War by the way. It also doesn't send me any files to the virtualstore, because I allowed the user to have full control on the SEGA folder. I did unpack, it might be a useful information, who knows?

I've done that and it still doesn't work.

That may be a bad download, I would try uninstalling SS, try re-installing with UAC disabled and install SS outside of Program files, perhaps in your Games folder

if its crashing at the load up screen its cause of premissions, sometimes the 'giving folder permissions' doesn't actually do anything for uac (it just allows modification of the files). Try the outside program files. I'm assuming vinalla and ss6.3 works?
