Installed Laptop RAM, Forgot to take out battery
In all installation instructions, you're told to take out the laptop battery before putting in your new ram....well.....like an idiot, i totally forgot about this when i installed the ram. Before i turned on the computer tho, i realized this, and took out the battery, took the ram back out, then put it back in, and placed the battery back in. Started up my laptop, and everything seems to be running a-ok.
I ran a 4600 man custom demo battle for mtw 2 and framerate was unaffected. I had made the jump from 1 gb of ram to 2 gb. I have a intel core 2 duo 2.0 ghz processor with a 256 mb ati mobility radeon x1400 hypermemory.
seeing as my vid card borrows 128 mb of system ram, i thought upgrading my system ram would give me about 5 more fps at least, in huge battles, but it didnt. Medium sized battles (2500 men total) run very smoothly, even with graphics settings medium-high...(huge battles were choppy with graphics at low)
it looks like my ram installed fine? and my processor/vid card is just a bottleneck no?

Current games don't need any more than 1 gig of ram, there won't be any difference. If you want to make sure you installed it right, go to "Control Panel -> System" to check.
