Default Import multiple models in 3dsmax

Can we import more than one models in 3dsmax but with their specific texture applied on, for each of them, at the same time? I'm asking this because i want to make a cavalry unit card, that requires both the unit and the horse with their proper textures at the same time. I tried to merge pics from the unit and the horse, but the result isn't pretty good.

yep import ur house and pose it as you want save this as a 3ds max file (its best jsut to keep one horse ready posed rather than do it everytime)

then start again import your rider pose him apply ur texture etc and then move him way out of the way of the centre of the scene

then go file merge the posed horse clickin auto rename dup items then press m to brin the maps pop up and click on one of the grey globes at the top select the texture u want for the horse than drag this to the horse and put apply to selection then just move the rider into place

    hope thats clear

The best thing is to save both files as max. Close all scenes and open one. Then merge it with another. There will be warnings when you merge about same name of elements, I believe you say "no" to the questions. Then you will have to move one of the objects, vertically only. Then you can change your camera angle and take the shot. If you need help check my profile and msn messenger me.
