Default (Idea) Client Sate & Satrapy Income

I think it would be a cool Idea if you could adjust the income you get from your client states and satrapies like you can for regular taxes. I don't know if this would be possible but you could make it so the more money you demand the more they dislike you and vice versa. I think this could add a little more depth when dealing with your clients states and satrapies because right now you don't really have to give them a second thought after they become yours they are just free income unless someone declares war on them.

I Find the idea interesting, definitely!

branching off your idea about satrapies/client states not needing a second thought - how about - upon taking a client state/satrapy a slow (perhaps, non linear?) negative diplomatic relation begins to build. This would force the player to either A) Help their client state to improve relations to offset this negative (Fighting their enemy, giving gifts) and B) have to be every aware of a possible uprising if they treat the ai as a cash cow.

I feel it could make sense historically and has alot of flexibility (Perhaps This penalty would only apply to factions with a different culture than the players). Or perhaps, even, give client states under the same ruler a diplomatic bonus.
    For Example:

Rome marches north, conquering Cisalpina by occupying Mediolanium but subjugating the Veneti and Ligurians. From every turn their after, the Celt Barbarian begin to resent their Roman rulers, while at the same time finding that both tribes - who have/may have been at odds on their own - now find a common enemy in their roman overlords!

I have no idea if any of this is possible through current gaming mechanics/scripting, but I found the idea fascinating!
