If its anything like the demo, then yes. 1gig will be enough, maybe not enough for max setting but, still easily enough for medium-high
What about 1.5 Gigs of RAM, will that be enough for all high settings?Originally Posted by KIllerGecko

Make sure your rig has a 2.6GHz processor (Core 2 duo or Athlon 64).Originally Posted by MasterAdnin

I agree, 1 gig is all you need, more than that is a waste. And if you are buying ram, get them in pairs.Originally Posted by westy159

Keep in mind that DDR is DUAL channel. The best performance will be had with TWO sticks of RAM in slots 1 and 3. You won't read the benefits of dual channels with more than two sticks.

Before you post, see if your question has already been answered here
I would suggest just getting 2 gigs, which is what I hope to do. It'll set you up for M2TW, plus other new games.
Also keep in mind that it is not RAM that solely affects performance. 1GB is enough. Getting more would - in my opinion - be a waste of time and money, unless you have plenty to spend. The performance increase would be minimal so consider looking to your other boarders instead. That would be your processor and graphics card, operating system and anything else to do with your PC.
Alright, so one gig is enough??? Thanks.

Question, I have a P4 2.93 ghz with 1 gig and not sure what kind of video card but in january of 2005 it was considered the best, or so the guy at MDG told me. Will I need to make any upgrades now or will I be better off waiting to buy a new system? Budget wise any complete upgrade to a new system will have to wait at least 2 or 3 months. Thanks.
Right click on your desktop, click on properties, and go to settings tab. It should tell you what video card you have there. If it was a good card from jan. 2005 you should be able to play the game on at least medium with no problem.

Does Intel 82915G Express Chipset memory 64 mb mean anything to you? Sorry I am very out of touch when it comes to the technical aspects of computers. Hmm actually that doesn't sound very good, most people here are talking about having more memory than that.
64MB of integrated graphics will not be suitable to play the game.Originally Posted by happyho

Have you any suggestion's possibly oh wise one's of the twcenter basement? Any upgrade in particular might help? I would very much appreciate any advice. Time is running out, only a few days until my reserved copy becomes available.Originally Posted by AlfonsoVIII
You got integrated. The guy riped you off pretty bad, integrated graphics are a piece of crap, it's no where near the top of the line. Sorry to say but you are going to need a graphics card if you want to even run M2:TW.
The good news is your chipset supports PCI-E, so you should be able to get a new video card pretty easily. You should double check your computer though, PCI-E slots look like this:
It's the one all the way to the left, it can come in different colors too, usually black. PCI-E slots are always paired up with smaller PCI-E x1 slots, which is the two tiny slots in mid.
If you are still not sure, take a pic of your motherboard and upload it.

Read my post and do it, once you made sure you got PCI-E you can get a nice video card. If not... then your probably getter off with a new computer.

Thanks actually I was writing that post just as you answered, so thank you I've got everything written down and tomorrow I will look at SEVERAL different options in SEVERAL different stores. I will no longer buy anything from MDG that is for certain, nor will I buy anything on Boxing Day just because it's cheaper.
