Save keeps crashing

Stainless Steel was having problems but I wanted to keep the campaign on it, so I moved the save somewhere else while I re-installed Stainless Steel.
Now, when I start the game and start playing on that save, it just keeps crashing when I try saving it or try selecting a new turn.
I use steam to run the game. Can anyone help me out?

Can you post the log from the crash.

Also are you using the exact same settings/choices (ai, mods, etc.), cause if you are not that will cause a crash.

the log file (with trace on) from the ss folder. (trace is an option in the default.cfg in the ss6.3 folder).

I'm a complete idiot who doesn't understand what he is doing.

It says to=mods/americas/system.log.txt but I can't find it. I've typed it in and it says it doesn't exist

hmmmm...can you post your save file and your submod manager selections (ai, etc etc) and i'll try to see if i can't figure out why its not working, i think it has to do with rebels but im not 100 percent sure from the log. I'll try looking at it this weekend for you.
