    Default MOS 1.62 Campaign Crash

I am a windows 7 steam user. I have 3.2 installed and that worked perfectly. I added MOS to it but it crashes whenever I begin a campaign. The menu looks fine and the video plays to begin the campaign but then it crashes. I also deleted that map.rwm? file.
    Any advice?

Have you run Cleaner.bat file as an Administrator?

You can find instructions regarding VirtualStore here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...h-pictures-!-)

You need to: Edit Security for your main Medieval II TW folder, unhide hidden folders, and check VirtualStore for Sega/Medieval II TW folder, and, delete Medieval II TW folder if you find it there.

Restart your PC, restart Steam, run Cleaner.bat file as an Administrator and try to start MOS campaign again. If it doesn't work, reinstall.

I'm having the exactly the same problem and have tried all the suggested solutions.

Redownloaded - all the way through to bug fixes, ran cleaner (one warning about fellowship campaign map - i'm starting the main campaign though). At a loss now. Anyone with any other ideas?

    delete manually map.rwm file in M2TW/mods/ Third_Age_3/ data/world/maps/base folder.

And delete all "strings.bin" files in M2TW/mods/ Third_Age_3/ data/ text folder.

Run Cleaner.bat file as an Administrator as well.

I hadn't deleted the stings.bin before so I thought that might work, but still no joy.

I can still delete MOS, and vanilla TA3.2 works fine.

So many compatibility issues when dealing with PC's difficult to know what it is. Could be specific motherboard/processor combo.

I have Lands to Conquer installed, which doesn't use the mod folder structure, so I am going to do a clean Install, and start with TA3.2.

Worked fine with the clean install. Looking forward to checking this out.
