Following my 50-odd turns so far im my campaign, is have uncovered two areas in which I am weak, and on which I would appreciate your experiences and guidance. The topic title gives it away, but:
Priests:
After the death of my original priest, and only cardinal, I have found it nigh on impossible to get priest's piety on the increase. Send them to distant lands, convert in spain, place them in settlements with an abbey and yet them still refuse to become more pious. The swine. Any advice on this?
Prisoners:
Having conquered most of France, I have been warned to cease hostilities for 8 turns by the Pope. This I fully intend to do, but following this I will conquer the two remaining, southern most strongolds of those imbecile currs. The faction leader is installed in one of them. Thus far in my campaign, I have not managed to take one character prisoner, and frequently only manage to make a paltry amount from any ransom. Yet again, I ask for your advice.
Cheers
