Teutonic Order Spawns 2-3 Times?

Hi all -- I just wanted to check to see how many times the Teutonic Order spawns. They've done so 3 times in my current game.

The Order appeared with 2 full stacks in the 1220s, at which point I promptly defeated it. Then it re-appeared around 1270 with 1 stack -- easily defeated again. I thought that was it -- but then in 1276, they appeared for a third time, and with 3 full stacks.

Is this normal? What exact years is the Order supposed to spawn? Thanks much for your help.

It was the same in my campaign. Unless we both have a problem, I'd say it's normal (just a bit annoying).
