Default Big thanks and question about unit balancing

First of all, just want to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in this amazing mod! I'm still not in love with the base game but DeI has given me 2 or 3 campaigns which I quite enjoyed and the great majority of changes introduced were for the better

I just had a quick question about the unit balancing, which made the battles way more fun in my opinion. Was it an incredibly laborious process to get the battles to this state, requiring you to change stats for every unit in the game?

The reason I ask is that I think it would be quite a good idea if there were a few options or sliders designed into the main game that allowed players to tweak the combat to better accommodate their preference for fast-paced MP style action or the more realistic/immersive/strategic style. I'd be interested to hear how easy you thought this kind of feature would be to implement, what kind of effort it would involve on behalf of the developers and whether or not you think it would be a worthwhile addition to the game.

That would probably involve a lot of work and a very powerful launcher tool. Basically implementing multiple sub-mods into the mod itself.
DarthMods and Stainless Steel had very customisable launchers so I guess its possible to have several battle "mods", but it would require creating several "games" and atm all is focused to perfect one "game"

On stat process I believe from what I've read that some stats are linked to a unit attributes : class/armor/weapon. So there must be some automation.

Great, thanks Butan. That's interesting to hear about the customizable launcher. Was that for Darth's Empire mod that we saw a selection of different battle modes?
