Default Does fatigue slow attack animations?

I am trying to determine whether my exhausted units surrounded are attacking slowly because 1) exhaustion slows the attack animations or 2) my PC is having issues with large battles.

Also, does anyone know what the full effects of fatigue in combat consists of?

Fatigue makes your troops lose morale, and also makes their morale more volatile (it becomes easier to affect, and they become more likely to rout).
It also makes your troops move slower all in all, most prominently seen while theyīre running, but also in how they attack less frequently and block attacks less efficiently during battle - I donīt know about the actual attack animation itself being slowed down (at least I have never observed that, only that they attack less the more tired they are).
If I am not mistaken, I think the soldiers also attack with less power when tired, though I donīt know for sure about that one (although it would make sense for a tired man to hit with less force than a merely warmed up one).

Ah, ok. This explains things at least in part. I meant they were attacking less frequently when exhausted - not that the attack animations itself was slow. Really awful phrasing on my part - thanks!
