    1. Is Elephant worth it? I got one right from the start and I had to killed it since I dont have enough gold to feed it. Both the upkeep and the recruit cost are huge, I am not sure if I want to recruit elephant even when I get more territories and gold.

    2. Elephant tactics? Just charge in infantry line or there are secret technical I dont know?

    3. What is the faction that has the bes elephant?

At the start, just put the elephant unit in a minor settlement to get the free upkeep. Take it out only to use it or when you can financially afford it.

Elephants are best used as a hammer in typical "anvil and hammer" setup. They are vulnerable to javelins, so hold them back until all enemy javelin troops are engaged. It's good to deploy most of your cavalry on the flank with elephants, so they can effectively cover them from light troops and cavalry. When all enemy units are engaged, move them up on the flank, slightly past the enemy line, It should look like this (E-elephants, F-your line infantry, A-enemy troops, T-target for elephants):

    E
    ___AATAAAAAA
    ___FFFFFFFFFFFF

Now, by charging your elephants at target, they'll hit several other units in their charge and cause havoc. Pull them out before they come to halt, move them a bit away and repeat on another target along the line. Remember not to charge at enemy from their rear, but rather at angle, so you hit more enemy units, and cause less disruption to your own troops in the line. If enemy unit routs, don't try to chase them with elephants...they're useless for that. Keep them charging at enemy units in the main battle. They might also survive and try to countercharge your elephants, use your cavalry to charge and pin them, then mob them with your elephants and cavalry.
