Well going by my local Gamespot's performance in getting me my store pre-ordered copy of Gear of War earlier this week I will be happy if I see M2TW next week let alone Monday!

This is no change, the game has always been set for a release on the 14th. Almost all releases ship on monday for a tuesday release.

no, ebgames/gamestop/amazon have all said SHIPPING on the 14th, not releasing. so this means we should get it a day earlier. i too hope this means i get my copy to pick up at the store on monday, so when i get out of school early tuesday ive got lots of time.

I'm almost certain no one is getting the game illegally other than buying it from stores which are selling the game early. The game is 11GB large so it's almost impossible to get it "illegaly" in a shorter time than actually going to a store and purchasing it.

Hell yeah but when I went to GameStop yesterday, the clerk told me that it'll be the 15th. They must have changed their minds today. Really murat can? I'm going to go there today and ask them.

In that case, it doesn't matter becayse they don't sell any PC games. I called up a couple of the shops in my neighborhood. None of them sell PC games. WTF! And one guy I talked to did show some condescending attitude. What kind of dumb marketing move is that? PC already with Vista and GeForce8 has better hardware and software than the next gen consoles. It is bound to remain a great competitor and maybe even a leader in the gaming as newer advances are going to boost it out of reach of current console capabilities.

And Bestbuy is sticking with 14th.

err, gamestop owns ebgames i think, or vice versa. but in the ebgames and gamestop nearby theyve got about id say 30 different relatively new games on the shelves at any given time, so i dont know why yours have no pc games. both the bestbuys and walmarts here are always a week late with pc games. i called ebgames today and asked them if they planned on getting in the 14th since the ship date was earlier, and they said yes! so when i get home an hour an 45 mins early, im going straight to ebgames.
