    Icon5 "Sea sickness" trait mod, perhaps can be made into a DeI version.

    I just found this mod on the workshop. In attila there will be a trait called sea sickness that effects non- marine type soldiers while they are on transport ships. The trait lowers the stats of the soldiers while on the ship thus giving an edge (and leveling the playing field) to the smaller dedicated marine forces. This mod effectivly adds this trait into Rome II. There are a few incompatibility issues though, for example it is incompatible if a mod adds or changes army stances, but the trait is built for vanilla stats.

    I was wondering if this mod could be turned into a DeI version, and would there be any interest for such a mod?

    I think there's going to be a naval rebalance for DEI in the (not too?) distant future, but the idea behind this mod is pretty cool, though it does say specifically made for the Vae Victis mod.
    Not sure if the DEI team can use it.

    Magnar made it so its all about if he allows DeI team to use/adapt/inspire from his work.
    I dont know if he already collaborated with members of the DeI team in the past but it would be great if he was to work with them. RTR and Vae Victis are ones of the most complete mods of R2 today.

    Amen ! (with great hope) on Magnar cooperation !!!

    on the "sea sickness" sub-mod there should be a resource "magic weeds" or something, that would lead further to develop/distribute a "pill" to land armies prior to embarkation, with the result of reducing the impact "sea sickness" has on combat skills

    of course, higher level "pill" buildings should give this bonus more efficiently but with more "empire maintenance", "food consumption" and/or "public order" penalties....

    We could also add a "bucket" asset on soldiers, ranging from lvl I (wooden bucket) to lvl III (iron bucket), given to land units which are recruited from port settlements!

    The idea seems very good...problem is that the AI is already too dumb to not use transport fleets to attack your combat navies since last CA changes. This would only result in another player exploit.

    The feature will be present. I've already set up the effect with a bit of help from Magnar and his effects tutorial. Suffice to say, work is beginning on the Naval overhaul.
