Query about installing Kingdoms 1.5 patch

Hi

I tried to install Third Age with FROGS/MOS (never got far enough to choose which) a while ago, but because I know very little about modding, or this kind of stuff, I managed to mess up the order of folders, saving things in the wrong places... it never worked. I'm trying again, from the beginning.

So: I have medieval 2 and kingdoms installed on CD. I downloaded the 1.5 non-gold EU kingdoms patch. It's in the download folder as an rar (I have 7-zip). Do I have to move this folder to my medieval total war 2 folder/ mods folder, or where, because last time I ran the setup.exe in the download folder and an error appeared.

Any help in getting me far enough to play TATW with a mod would be much appreciated!

The problem is solved I just had to extract the folder
