Hey everyone,

Can’t get enough of History and Total War? We have just the thing.

Rally Podcast is a new project in which we’ll look to chat about various topics related to Total War, History and the Total War Community. Whether you want to enjoy it on the go or with a cup of tea while playing your next campaign is up to you!

In our pilot episode Pete of the Writing Team, Josh of the new Content Team and Matty of the Community Team talk about the Huns, Pete’s love for the Sassanid Empire and the historical background at the start of the Grand Campaign in Total War: ATTILA.

It seems "Pete’s love for the Sassanid Empire" was not enough to see a real Sassanid army in Total War battlefield

PETES a writer not a graphic designer. Thats Lusteds department.

they prob dont even work on the same floor. I'd be blown away if they even knew each other since CA has so many workers.

Feedback to Matty: I like the format - perfect to plug in to for the commute. All in all a good way of learning a little historical context for the upcoming game and nice to hear it from Pete and Josh, whose passion for their subject came through pretty well I thought. To improve future episodes, it would be good if there were a couple of references to how all this info informed some of the design choices and what role they played in creating the game.

As a staunch Christian I take offence to your mockery of St Ambrose's amazing silent reading technique! Haha, kidding - that did make me laugh
