Default Quick question about culture influence (bug?)

    Hey, so here's two screenshots:
    One

    And two

As you can see, I've got 6 Parni (that's my faction) culture influence vs a Persian influence of 2, yet I'm loosing the "culture struggle" by 1.4% per turn. Not sure exacly how does this work - how am I supposed to keep the region culturally conquered if no temples or anything helps and I'm constantly loosing influence despite the higher numbers? I only start really gaining it if I place a dignitary in the province.

Maybe I just don't understand how is it supposed to work? Does a 6 vs 2 point influence mean the % will settle at a 6:2 ratio, or is this simply bugged?

Oh, you can't really make a region 100% your culture in Rome 2. Instead, the culture points act as a fraction. Right now, 6/8 (3/4) of your region is Parni, and 2/8 (1/4) of your region is Persian. Persian will continue to gain influence until it reaches its 25% maximum, leveling the province out at 75% Parni and 25% Persian.

I am assuming Parni reached 88.5% due to prior edicts/characters/generals/previous buildings. In DeI, characters have a huge influence on the culture of a region and can be quite powerful. For instance, one of my governors has a +16 character bonus to Parni culture .

That's what I suspected. Thank you, appreciate the answer. Got a bit confused there.
