I'll most likely be putting a sign-up thread this afternoon or tomorrow at the latest. It will have the most updated claims list in it and from that point onward, I'll probably be giving people up until about Monday or Tuesday of next week to officially claim and sign-up their Houses before the claims will expire.

I'd like to remind everyone that Merchant Republics don't have access or protection to and from the Landsraad (meaning the Lansraad cannot protect them from the Emperor), and can actually be removed from their offices much more easily than feudal houses (ie, coups or popular dissent if the house screws up big time).
