Farewell Rome community.. I'll keep playing Rome because that's all my friends' PCs can support, so many LAN battles there!

I haven't been here long enough to really get attached to anyone here, anyway.

In other words, you have no enemies yet. I will keep a copy of my RTW files on my second hard drive, but I will not reinstall the game. DarthMod was good, the tournament will be my last RTW hurrah.

You can say that. Haven't been here long, but I feel some sort of anti-America aura outside of the game discussion.

I see you have a Chevy avatar though.. I own a Ford Mustang. You want to be my enemy? Joking of course!

Rome will never leave my mind like the first mtw will never leave . There just too good to just throw away you'll always want to just install it again and play some mod on it or even vanilla .

Hey I still play Shogun and Medieval 1 once in a while (but my true love is Rome)

Although when Medieval 2 comes out, RTW is probably going to be put in that 'once in a while' category.

I won't stop playing RTW for a long time, but that's because my PC can't handle a better TW

I can handle Medieval: Total War II, but I don't really like the game, judging from the demo, so I'll probably continue with Rome: Total War.

No way is it time to say goodbye! Well, not for another few months. For me at least. And even when I do get my computer, I will still probably play RTW with the Crusades or CTW every once and a while

I will be around on the forums, mainly in the tech help sections and the basement, but I am sure some people will stay and play since all these mods are getting released for RTW now.

What is with all these goodbye threads?

I enjoy playing RTW and I will keep playing it for a long time to come. It is just a game.
MTW2 might not be any good.

RTW is an old friend and a good one. Since I am unable to play MTW2 and unable to upgrade my pathetic machine or buy a new one, I'll be playing RTW until my computer or myself dies.
Unless I scrap it all and switch to my old PS2 which I've only used once. But I doubt it.
