    Default Battle Realism doesn't work

I thought of trying the battle realism mode, in my Arverni campaign, and checked the box, but nothing did happen.
I can still see the minimap and the ''battle camera'' is not limited.
Is there any way I can fix this in-game or in the scripts?

    Cheers!

I read a post earlier of someone who couldn't turn it off. It is possible you can't change this setting mid campaign?

I unticked it during a campaign just like you can change the battle difficulty. So it would be odd if you couldnt turn it on also

It is dodgy. I had a very hard campaign, where I turned it on - and it would not turn off again. Happens in vanilla too.

Nothing the DeI team can do, sorry mate.

I ticked mine on mid campaign, nothing changed.

I know its a old topic, but after searching everywhere and found nothing, I came up with my own solution.

With EditSF (I use EditSF 1.1.1), open your save game file.
    C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Rome2\save_games\[file name.save]

    Then, go to CAMPAIGN_SAVE_GAME\COMPRESSED_DATA\CAMPAIGN_ENV\CAMPAIGN_SETUP\CAMPAIGN_SETUP_OPTIONS\CAMPAIGN_SETUP_INGAME_MODIFIABLES

There, you will see a total of 11 values, the 1st 4 values are numbers, the rest are true/false values.
The last value is the Battle Realism. If its "True", Battle Realism is activated, if it's "False" it's not.
Change it according to your preferences, save, close EditSF, run the game and continue playing.

    I hope it helps.
