Default Warning Graphical memory running low...

Since the release of 1.0 this happens all the time, even when battles are small and dont have a lot of troops, btw before 1.0 i had battles 9000 vs 10000 and nothing, that message never appeared.
Anyone else have this problem?how to solve it?

How much VRAM does your graphics card actually have?

What are your ingame graphics settings?

Mitch pls dude, dont ask me those generic questions like my game run like crap before,i was asking if something was changed or something, before it worked like a charm.
    7870 + 8RAM
Mostly Ultra,Shadows are on High only i think.
Oh and yes, does unlimited memory actually does something when clicked?

Try the reduced variation submod, see if that helps.

The big change graphically in 1.0 was increased variation in most units, which seems to have performance effects on many systems (mine included). This pack reverts those to 0.96 versions. I hate using it though because the new variations are so cool, so I found that if I reduced texture detail to high from ultra I could play again with the new variations. But terrible looking chainmail. No idea if that option would help you though, as it seems to be different depending on the system.

I had that issue even with just normal Rome 2 despite having 8GB 2400MHz RAM and 3GB VRAM. The message stopped when I ticked "disable desktop composition" on the compatibility list on the Rome 2.exe. Try that.

EDIT: Oh and tick disable visual themes. Just disables stuff in Windows only while the game is running. Stops the annoying message though.

Wow, the DEI team should sticky your post. It solved the low fps problems and even reduced loading times! No need for the 0.96 unit variaton mod anymore, now I can enjoy the full graphical potential of this mod.
    Thanks alot Godz_Mercenary!

Just an FYI, it looks like it's a Win7-only tweak. It appears that Win8.x makes it very difficult if not impossible to do for an individual program while keeping a stable system.

Yeah, I know. Have you tried Godz_Mercenary tweak? This solved the issue for me. Also go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Rome2\scripts and open the "preferences.script.txt". Look for the "gfx_video_memory" line and replace the number you have with 4294967295. So it looks like this:

    gfx_video_memory 4294967295; # gfx_video_memory <int>, Override available video memory (bytes) #

This and the tweak from Godz_Mercenary solved every stutter, low framerate and video memory issues for me.

I gave this a try today as I have a 4GB card showing as 3GB in the video options, it ended up showing 4GB in the graphics options which was great, though after getting a constant desync in our 1st battle since changing that value in our head to head game I decided to undo any changes I had made since our last session.
When I went back into the script file the line had changed to "gfx_video_memory -1", can't find any info on the web about that, turned it back to 0, will see if that makes a difference with the desync, the desync would kick in the very instant the units clash.

Edit.. Problem had nothing to do with this change.
