I wonder if anyone knows if the huns are gonna look like this or if this is skipped in the game?

Well, on one hand, AS I saw, the huns have an unique and not shared look in the game, therefor, having their own skull shape should be normal
But on another hand, making helmets and others stuffs on a round head is way more easier for the studio, and the modders !
ho ho this thread made me laugh...Huns are Klingons....!
you know I would like to say this is a joke but then again you have women in africa who put metal rings on their neck to extend it as inhumanly as possible.
so... I do not know if those skull shapes could be possible given the guy would probably days if he falls down or even bends down to pick something up.

Is there significant enough evidence of the Huns practicing this? It seems like Roman dramatification to me, trying to dehumanize the Hun invaders.

I can't remember what my source is but as far as I understand on the subject elongated skulls was very uncommon amongst the huns allthough some of their vassaled/allied germanic tribes had it done to their children after they came into the hunnis sphere of influence.
According to omniscient and allmight wikipedia: "In the Old World, Huns[7] and Alans[8] are also known to have practised similar cranial deformation. In Late Antiquity (AD 300-600), the East Germanic tribes who were ruled by the Huns, adopted this custom (Gepids,Ostrogoths, Heruli, Rugii and Burgundians). In western Germanic tribes, artificial skull deformations have rarely been found."

I fail to realise how could any large human population have such skull shapes about 1500 years ago.
Edit: oh, I didn't know that those deformations could be done artificially.
I read somewhere some of the Germanic tribes had this custom as well. As well as some South American pre-Columbian civilizations.
From what I've read it happened - but it was rare. Perhaps a certain caste/tribe/individual could be marked that way for some reason - to have thousands of soldiers looking like that would be massively ahistorical - for no reason.
It would be nice to see some Hun soldiers with this skull shape. Maybe moreso in the General's bodyguard than anywhere else as it might be a nobility thing.

jaysus christ I didn't know cranial deformation was a thing. When I read the OP I also though it might be a myth or tale coloured by Romans who lived at the time, but after reading the wiki article it's actually too extreme to be made up and appartenly took palce in different cultures in divere parts of the world.
We can safely assume this won't be represented in Attila TW, but this thread made me learn, so that's great
Also, I'm close to 30, it's too late for me to baddassify my own skull right ? :p

So a unit of head enlarged Huns? I dont think so......next....![]()
Well not sure there were many in their forces...yes it is recorded but I think it's def a case of very very maybe...
P.S Reason cranial enlargement never caught on was because it was a waste of time and served no purpose. Moreover wouldnt it make making helmets more tricky? Certainly as a smith i'd say bugger off with your stupid shaped heads![]()
