Battle outcome probability question
Hi all,
First and foremost, THANK YOU FOR THIS MOD. I am enjoying the game once again! tbh I do enjoy the experience over vanilla as it reminds me of older Total War games.
I have a question on the probability of autobattles. From my experience it feels different from vanilla. I cannot find any log with the changes of the mod but I am under the impressions that in DeI it only gauges both armies in terms of just raw numbers. I am intrigued, as almost every single battle seems impossible to win according to the autobattle appraisal, but then I play the battle and have no trouble whatsoever crushing my enemy using basic flanking, hammer and anvil and using my cavalry efficiently given how overpowered the Roman basic infantry is in the game (as it should be imho).
Not that I have a problem in playing the battles, but every now and then there are minor conflicts that are just worth the autobattle feature.
Can anyone confirm this or shed some light?
Again, thank you for this massive piece of a mod.

Re: Battle outcome probability question
I have the same thing. Sometimes its the contrary, the auto-resolve give me a lot of power balance in my favor even though the battle seems balanced.
When you see something like that, check the average casualty rate per stance, sometimes it seems you will easily win, but it will be a pyrrhic victory.
To sum it up, the auto-resolve is broken and hard to balance
