    Default ViewSonic VP2030b

Question, does anyone have any experience as to what the ViewSonic VP2030b is like as a gaming machine.

Its strating to rasie higher in my list of possible monitors to move to.
Mostly due the 1600*1200 native mode and the .255 dot pitch. it seems to be 16ms on off and 8ms grey to grey. So curious whether anyones got one and how they regard it?

I am not saying dont get it, but LCDs have come a long way since 8ms response. Find one that has 4-5ms time. The game will look better.

Really? Can you really tell the difference between 4ms and 8ms? I say 16ms is enough, lower is just a waste of money.

I don't have the VP2030b, but I do have a VP191b, the old 19" version. I must say it's a pretty good monitor, no dead pixels, which is a first for me.

So you are saying its better to go for a smaller screen with a larger dot pitch but faster response time?

I havent seen any of the larger screens getting close to what you are saying so if you know something I don't please tell.
