    Default [REQ] Smaller Rome

I know the current starting position and provices for rome is somewhat historically accurate, and provides a good position for new players to start playing. Still, I really can't help but get discouraged when I start as rome in DEI (And in vanilla as well) because I feel like I start with way too many territories. I'd be fine if some of these were allied states, at least.

In short, is there a submod that makes it so you start with only rome and maybe the two northern settlements (arrentium and arrimium) and nothing else?

This would require an editing of the startpos which is almost impossible given the amount of changes made.

Giving cities to other factions (like, say, epirus or sicily) would come with the same restrictions?

Yes, starting region ownerships and starting armies require a redone startpos.

Well, that's unfortunate. Thanks for the prompt reply (AND the mod!)
