Default Need advice on "Ancient" graphic card....

    Hello all

Long time lurker and first time poster in the basement here...I need some advice on ancient graphic card matters....

I got a ASUS 9550 256MB and Ti4200 128MB, and I heard report from the Guild that somepone with almost the same spec as I use the TI4200 and runs the gold demo at high unit detail and medium texture without any problem...

I can only ran the game at meidum unit detail and low texture..but with noticable lag at Beginning of Pavia and Otumba (Agincourt is not problem due to the fact it has less the men compare to previous 2 battles)...

so I just wondering...should I row back to Ti4200 (gonna oc of course)????

    Any help will be appreciated.

Quick look at some charts revealed that 4200 Ti has a bit more power. But it's lacking DirectX 9-support. So the difference is not so big that you should change. And I don't believe that someone ran the game with those settings using that card. Sounds like a little white lie.. If he didn't set all other settings to low.. But still it would be quite a lag.

The Ti4200 used to be an amazing GPU, I had a 4400 myself... however, I seriously doubt it would be enough to run a game like Medieval 2 properly, so no, I don't think you should go back to the Titanium.

    Thanks for the response guys

I guess I might have to play the game in low units until I get a new rig.....
