Problems opening console

Yes I know using console is considered dishonourable but sometimes I want to toggle off the fog of war for screenshots

I usually do this using the ` sign on my keyboard but occasionally med 2 doesn't open console when I press it.
I have not found in the settiings were to change the key, although I doubt that would help much considering the key still works in other programs.

Any help? And I know this is very vague but I can't really explain it any better

But there should be in Options > Keyboard settings. But I'm not sure if the console shortcut is there to be able to change it.

I think it might be due to language of my keyboard. I checked and it was suddenly on a different language. Switched back and it worked again and turned off again for testing sake and it stopped working, but after resetting it to my normal language again it worked. Thanks for the help anyways I'm 95% sure I found the cause

Yes it's probably that if in the non-english language there's a different character instead of " ` " assigned to this key. In game you could try pressing Alt+` then, or switch between keyboard languages using left Alt+Shift shortcut, not sure if it's enabled by default or you have to do it manually in keyboard settings, also I'd suggest to enable the language bar in the taskbar.
