EB 2.1 crashes

I just downloaded Eb 2.1 for Steam and I launched, read through some of the factions, then it just crashes (exits) without no error like randomly. How can I prevent this?

Have you checked in [Your M2TW directory]\logs to see what the reported error is?

I have noticed that when going through the factions, that if you press the different faction buttons in rapid succession that it will cause a ctd. The same thing when pressing many buttons fairly quick on the campaign map as well. It is not a fatal ctd as one can restart the campaign from the last save game. Perhaps it has something to do with overloading the video memory.

No, that one is a common CTD with every mod, from what I know there's no fix for it.
