    Default Siege hold out query

Ive just had the AI begin a siege on one of my provincial capitals. I thought I would have a few turns to relieve the city but to my surprise the tool tip says 1 turn till surrender.

Shouldn't a provincial capital be holding out for longer than one turn?

Wow, you should have at least 15 turns. What version do you use?

Its Noreia and ive had it for at least 50 turns. Food is plus 5 in region and public order is 3 but minus 9 per turn. Im about 200 turns in, think I started with 1.02 but have been using the latest updates. I use the standalone mod version.

Its been great fun so far but this is annoying as im probably gonna lose the city due it only having a garrison force. Im guessing there is no way to sort this before clicking end turn?

    ps,

Guess I better post this on the bug thread.

Looks like it's something related to traits/skills of enemy general, maybe one of them is broken or something. You can change some values inside the DeI pack just for some turns, go to this table:
    db/campaign_difficulty_handicap_effects_tables/_raf_SIEGES_campaign_difficulty_handicap_effects
    sort by "effects" and find:
    rom_general_force_mod_siege_attack_holdout_time
then set effect value to -15 for all of them.

As I await a response on the bug forum about this im just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue apart from Chris and me?

That sounds different to my issue. My game isn't crashing.

I am trying to find the offending culprit. I assume it has to be a skill, tech, ancillary, etc that has too high values for siege reduction. Either that or somehow the AI had a confluence of every possible siege choice.

If you try the current WIP fix pack, let me know if it happens again.
