Default Does Civil War actually work properly for IA

for every faction it the tool tip says higher influence causes more civil chance... even though according to dresden's post, for single party factions it should be the opposite.

It seems so erratic, sometimes it says low chance sometimes it says none, even for the same level of influence. any1 played IA enough to know?

Yeah for me at full Imperium I am getting high civil war chance above 70% influence (I had around 83%) Not found the sweet spot yet and having trouble maintaining a large empire atm... (Campaign on hard level)

It's bugged. DeI Scriptorium states that single-party factions need high influence in order to avoid civil war, this is not the case:

It is also in Grand Campaign that way. It is like totally opposite how it should work. How can civil war happen when there is no competition

High influence for single party factions doesn't prevent civil war, it simply doesn't trigger the higher chances associated with the influence mechanic. Imperium level will slowly increase the chances no matter what.

That text is from vanilla, I need to change it obviously

hmm, so can you clarify for IA rome factions, do we need to keep influence high or low to minimize chance of civil war?

As with all single party factions, higher influence means a lower chance of civil war. Or at least it should
