Default What to do with a maxed charm level Princess?

So I'm pretty new to the series, and am on my second campaign (after starting a new one with the stainless steel mod enabled 63turns into the last one as suggested on this forum). Well, I got lucky and was granted a maxed out princess with 100% charm, and am very reluctant on marrying her off so soon as I feel I probably won't get another one this high in charm for quite awhile.

My question is, what would be the best way to utilize her? I feel like I may have hit the jackpot so to speak, and I'm wanting to make sure I take full advantage of her skill level, and get the most out of her as possible. Any suggestions?

A strong princess is 1) A great diplomat 2) Able to steal a great generals and govenors from other factions 3) able to make a strong peace with another faction (assuming that faction's Leader or Heir are not married) 4) able to make one of your own faction members very loyal, and add some of her positive traits to his (depending on the traits she has).

I think 2 (especially) and 4 are the real best choices for a great princess. 2 is risky (save first), but less so with high charm. A spy can help scout out potential mates to make sure they are all you want them to be.

If I'm not mistaken, if you marry a high charm princess off to a faction heir (or a particularly good general), the descendants will be born with much better stats. While you could use her as a souped up diplomat, I find it more interesting to turn her into a high quality baby machine instead.

Unless the faction heir is adopted, don't you get incest traits if you marry a princess with a prince?

Incest (Inbred) traits are a 1% random chance for any faction member once they come of age; from there, though, there are quite high chances to pass it on to the children and it getting worse.

While the husband directly benefits from the some of the positive traits of the wife (the WifeIs..." series), the male (EDIT: Princesses too) Faction Members only "inherit" (is more likely to have because parent has same/opposite trait) traits from their fathers, upon coming of age (not birth).

I don't think the game lets you do that; you can marry it off to another faction's faction heir and you might be able to work something from that angle, or you can marry her off to one of your generals to boost their loyalty, he'll then join your family and then their kids will be born with a higher chance of getting good traits, as has been said.

@reaper, most entertaining is to try and marry her off to another faction's general - preferably one with high stats.

a little bit off topic, but this one of the comments from the forum, i found it while searching for a way to train princesses..

"Based on my experience, you use princesses is as follows:

    1. A princess comes of age. You notice that she has like 2 charm, because she has a yappy dog or stunning handmaiden or something.

    2. You look at princess traits/ancillaries. You notice no way of improving them, as you might generals/priests/spies/etc, except the GoodPrincess trait, which has a trigger of DiplomacyMission MissionSucceeded.

    3. You take your princess out to negotiate. She doesn't get Diplomatic Ability, Delicate Diplomat, etc. She does, however, pick up some terrible traits and ancillaries, like bruised confidence and a secret lover, driving her charm into the negatives. Whatever DiplomacyMission MissionSucceeded is, it isn't triggered by exchanging trade rights and maps or presenting gifts to the papacy or whatever you were using her for.

    4. You say "screw it," and marry her off to the next single foreign general you see, so that he gets "wife is a wretch," which will hopefully lead to riots in his cities."

    i LOL'd so hard..

Does anyone know if the Mongolian / Timurids generals start by default with wives? I'd love to try and swoon one of their maxed out generals but I've never gotten around to trying it.

It doesn't matter whether they do or not. Factions without princesses cannot have their generals seduced by a princess.
