Changing roster and some stats for the dogs of war faction. Can be done? What tutorials needed?

Hi guys! After the degree the will to play again with this mod has returned! But as someone knows I don't like too much the dogs of war troops. So I've decided to try to create a new roster without the "eastern units" make the mercenaries like ricco easy to hire and maybe if it is possible to import some units from normal TW Kingdom game like the basic pikemen. It can be done? What tutorial will I need? Reassuming my points in more schematic way:

-eliminate eastern units
-pure mercenaries always hirebale
-import some "historical" units from TW Kingdoms for the basic troops (pikeman crossboman cavalry)
-fix the pike problem
-changing some prices and stats ( for example the alcatani fellowship should be weaker and cheaper than ricco!)
Is the Khavi mercenaries a good add on? Hope to receive answers, hope that the mods will not be offended, I'd like to do so only because I've loved the dogs of war when I was a warhammer player. Cheers!

its all relevant to COW and if you have any questions AFTER reading the tutorials post there the technical guys will help you in much more detail than over here.
