Got it, expect save sometime in next few hours
Got it, expect save sometime in next few hours
update- save does not work for me, can another try?
Maybe Greyjoy should redo his turn just in case
Had new save sent to me that worked and honestly, I believe Renly should be turned AI, any objections? Will save us from finding new player.
Is Renly that screwed? I thought he still had a good portion of the Storm lands and decent army. Hmm, I suppose he has no allies and really no purpose in this hs than just cannon fodder now. There is no way I would invite Renly back into my good graces. I vote turn Renly be turned AI.
Will sub/turn AI this afternoon, want to hear from more people also.

As Stark has decided to remain silent and not announced publicly why he broke his NAP, the information i received from his own mouth was that he wishes to rule the Iron Throne and all Seven Kingdoms under the faith of the Old Gods, his justification for breaking a fresh NAP. This is a bold move that i'm sure everyone will laugh off like the rest of us have, but still a warning of the traitorous Starks intentions.
Neurion is on vacation until Monday, you guys want me to sub? :S
Reminder sent![]()
Will post tomorrow sorry for my absence
Remember, if something needs to be done, tell me. I forgot about this, but should do better in the future.

The Battle of the Kings Road
Prelude
Stannis was in his tent, intently studying the battle map in front of him. Lord Davos Seaworth entered the tent and bowed to his King.
"Your Grace," he said as he bowed.
"News from the North?" Stannis asked, his eyes not leaving the map.
"Your Grace, Robb Stark has rode into the Tully camp under terms of peace and turned his swords against them and killed many of our men stationed in fort outside Lord Harroway's town." Davos said disapprovingly.
"I never knew that the honorable Robb Stark could be capable of such despicable treachery. His father, Eddard Stark would be ashamed of him." Stannis scoffed.
"That's not all your Grace, our sources have told us that Robb Stark intends to take the Iron Throne and declare himself the King of Westeros and force the realm to worship the Old Gods." Davos reported.
Stannis laughed. Davos was taken back as Stannis rarely smiled much less laughed. "Lord Stark may be a grown man but he still acts like a boy. A foolish boy, whose ambitions and delusions of grandeur have gotten the best of him. Heh, reminds of me of my younger brother, Renly."
"Your Grace, we must make preparations to defend the Crownlands from the Northern invaders." Davos suggested.
"No, we must press forward against the Tyrells. Randall Tarly has made a folly and left his defenses open." Stannis said.
"Your Grace, the Tyrell defensive line outside Tumbleton is too strong how can we breach it without leaving our forces open for attack?" Davos asked.
"Lady Melisandre has told me of a vision she has seen in the flames. She saw that some of Tyrell's men stationed near Tumbleton can be bought, thus opening their defensive line for us to get through." Stannis told Davos.
"I am not one for visions, your Grace, how can you be so sure of this?" Davos asked concerned.
"I looked into the flames, myself. I saw a field of green with the sun over head, the sun's heat burned the field to a crisp and at the center, a beautiful rose withered and died. I believe that this means that a member of the Tyrell family will die soon." Stannis explained to his friend.
"I've known that visions and prophecies are not always straight forward, but if this is your command, I will obey." Davos said.
"Good, send a small party to the fort near Tumbleton with a substantial amount of gold dragons. Buy their loyalty, I will send my army through and attack the nearby army of the Tyrells." Stannis commanded.
"It will be done, your Grace." Davos bowed and left.
The Battle
Not long after, the fort garrison was bribed into joining the One True King and struck their Tyrell banners and put up the Flaming Stag of House Stannis Baratheon. Stannis and his army marched through and prepared to strike the nearby army of the Tyrells. The Tyrell army was under command of Garlan Tyrell, son of Lord Mace Tyrell of Highgarden. Garlan Tyrell was taken completely by surprise. Stannis and his forces utterly crushed the Tyrell army taking very few casualties as a result. Garlan Tyrell fought bravely killing most of the fallen men of Stannis himself. When he spotted Stannis leading the front that was closing in on him, Garlan charged the King himself but was utterly cut down by the Kingsguard and died nobly. With Garlan's death, the rest of his forces surrendered or scattered to the nearby fortifications.
Aftermath
Stannis stood over the battlefield, the dead littered the field. The Lord of Light had triumphed today and proven true to his word. Garlan Tyrell, lay dead before the One True King, who looked down on the noble warrior's body with sympathy and respect. "He died honorably, but it's a shame, he had to die at all. From what I hear, he was a good man. It's a pity that he choose to follow his father in his war against his King. Family loyalty is a respectable thing but sometimes it can cause us to lose our loved ones. War makes corpses of us all."
"What shall we do with the body, your Grace?" Lord Davos asked the King.
"Have the body cleaned and send him with his armor and sword to Randall Tarly. He should be sent over to his father, Mace Tyrell so that the man can mourn the death of his son." Stannis ordered.
"That is very kind of you, your Grace." Davos complimented.
"And why wouldn't I be kind?" Stannis asked. "I hold no ill will to Lord Mace Tyrell, even if he is my enemy, I can still show him respect. As a father myself, I know that I would prefer to have the chance to mourn my children. I just hope that this changes Lord Mace Tyrell's mind about the war, there are much greater threats to the stability of this realm than they think I am and his name is Robb Stark, the Oath breaker, the "King Without Honor." He is the real threat. I intend to prove to everyone that I am a better man than him and the only way for this realm to be truly at peace is to unite under one King and one god, the Lord of Light."
That night there were no celebrations, no drinking, instead Stannis ordered his men to give the Tyrell bannermen proper burials and send stipends of food and coin to their families to help them provide for themselves. Stannis hopes that this will send a clear message that while he is stern and treats treason appropriately, he is still a King that has mercy, kindness and honor even towards his enemies.
