AI Income?

I've noticed that factions with only single settlements are making easily over 1k from that settlement, one was even making 1700 from their single city. Do the AI get income bonuses that the player doesn't? I find it hard to believe that they can have a full stack army and sustain it with just one settlement. Also, I see the AI putting their entire armies in their cities and not suffering any public order penalties like I would. I'm fine if they have advantages like these, I just want to be sure.

Yes, the AI has advantages to money, public order, and food that scale with campaign difficulty. If they didn't, they'd bankrupt themselves and starve pretty quickly.
