Hi guys long time lurker and TW fan but this is my first post.
Currently I'm in year 36BC on my roleplaying Rome Campaign. By roleplaying I mean I waited until 58BC to go to war in Gaul, and I have all the historical legions (or at least the most I'm allowed with the 16 army limit) and so on. Some people might see this as a waste of time, but I'm tired of steamrolling and having half the world conquered in a short game so I said I'd try my hand at patience.
So here's my query: All my armies for the last 60 turns or so have been led by members of my family (Julii) and I recently retired some of the older ones. My leader has over 2000 gravitas but only one ambition. I have others in the 600-800 range with 2-3 ambition and some younger ones with a couple of hundred gravitas. However I only have 14% influence and seeing as I'm trying to roleplay I really need to trigger a civil war sometime soon. The Junii have 6% influence, and Cornelia have 17% but the Other Houses party has something like 64% even though their leader only has 200 gravitas.
Is there any way for me to increase my influence rapidly in this scenario? Should I just retire all my generals and let them become statesmen? The majority of the Other Houses , Junia and Cornelia parties are statesmen so should I replace my generals with Other Houses? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Also are there any mods that increase army limit but are compatible with DeI?
Cheers![]()
