Rome 2 has a severe problem with lack of context and information in its popups. I don't want to see that continue in Attila. Please fix this CA.

The problem with Rome 2's dilemma windows is that they could not be minimized. Once you are faced with a choice to make, it would be best if you can collect as many information as you can. In many cases, my allies was attacked by a faction which I know a little of, and I have to choose either to protect or to abandon him. Naturally I would like to see first if the attacking faction was just a small one or a mighty empire, but since I could not access the map, I could not do this.
Yep very very annoying.
I wanted to point out that knowing the name of the person you are engaging in diplomacy with would be a help. Blob battles are one thing, but this kind of stuff creates no immersion for the player. The characters might as well be nameless, does it really matter? Surely some DEV at CA was thinking before release "you know this game is incredibly boring."

Shogun 2, no thanks I will stick with Kingdoms SS.
I agree with that; totally. This lack of details are making R2's world a blank place. But since the focus on R2 was more on the empirfes than on the characters it would be logic that it changes with the come back of family trees.
Same here, why are dilemna's pop ups still there ? I thought they were just there to simulate the non existing internal life due to no family tree and decent politic system.
I saw there was defecting general, and it's nice ; but calling that a civil war in the preview could be disapointing since I thought a civil war would involve a whole party (including more than one character/general and even, why not, some of your faction's agents).

" Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room! "
Small attention to detail like this would make the game feel more immersive imo. Especially with Attila bringing back the family tree and continuing with politics it would be great to quickly link in to have a look at the character and their details. How are we meant to make a decision without easily knowing who they are or the current political balance?
Also as RGA said before it would also be great to do this when deciding to join an ally when going to war. On a slightly related note we should also be able to choose which of our allies/client states we would like to join us when we declare war on another faction... rather than this request all or none option we have in R2.
Definitely got my vote for this. Long overdue in fact. Can't understand why CA haven't implemented it in R2.
I hope the image of the man with the dagger is replaced upon release. Ive seen it in Rome 2 and I do not want to see it again in Attila, it is a new game so I hope they make new images(Sometimes pray for a new engine). I hope they switch it to something that portrays the situation that has to be dealt with.
Other than that, i agree, it would make us think twice about the what we want to do to the person. (either family or other family) If we allow him to go unpunished or not.
I see a picture with a lot of buttons to click. I wish that didn't exist at all and went back to the good ol' days of stuff just happening while you quietly nudged your dudes towards automatic traits, like being an observer rather than micro-managing every facet of your faction's existence.
So now there are simply more of the same politic pop-up screens that annoyed the hell out of me in Rome 2, as I sat there agonizing for minutes of precious game-time on what if any selection is even a good one in the end. Bribe (Lose more influence, mini loyalty), Bribe (Lose influence, tiny loyalty), and Forget It (Lose Loyalty), all the choices seem crap.
