Agents from Dead Faction Appearing

I eliminated Scotland on Turn 6. I'm now on Turn 33 and Two Scottish merchants and a priest spawned outside of Edinburgh, all age 20. For each of the next several turns after eliminating scotland I got two messages saying the scottish king is dead and one that scotland is eliminated. There are not from when scotland was eliminated as i thoroughly scouted the area with a spy. Is this something that can cause save game corruption? Also, scotland is not in the diplomancy screen.

I do have the same Problem. But for me they became rebels after I defeated William Wallece.

it not a big deal, but if it bothers you kill them with the console.
