I saw a few videos of this game on Youtube and was wondering how I can play without having already played Medieval 2.

Is there a way to play this without having to download M2

and what is the best way to download

Do you mean that you want to install TATW and play it WITHOUT installing M2TW and Kingdoms expansion?

If so, then the answer is NO, you must have M2TW and Kingdoms expansion installed before installing TATW, cause TATW requires them to be installed.

You do not need to actually play M2TW nor Kingdoms expansion, they just need to be installed as a base game.

And for downloading TATW, use either Mozzila Firefox or Chrome, do not use Internet Explorer.
