I don't know if it would break anything, but it would be showing the wrong information for a lot of buildings. I see some DeI players have tried to convince the modder to make a DeI version but no luck yet. It looks pretty cool, maybe someone could ask permission to make a submod?

In theory if it only edits the UI files then yes. But it may be inaccurate in terms of the building effects.

Sadly not, lots of us tried it when it first came out. It crashes the game when loaded
