Hi guys! I just re-downloaded EB after giving up on Rome 2. I remember reading before somewhere that VH difficulty is bugged for RTW, and its better to play on Hard difficulty instead. Can anyone confirm if this is the case for this EB? Thanks!

As far as I know the VH difficulty bug is hardcoded.
Sparta Total War, SPQR mod and Darth mod made some alterations to make battles more difficult. As far as I know EB mod didn't even do something like that.

"You know you're a history fan when you still get upset thinking about the Library of Alexandria." – unknown
The VH campaign difficulty is bugged (hard coded), makes it easier than Hard. (money wise over time)
The VH battles are not bugged, but don't be surprised to see Lt skirmish troops make a fight of it against your heavy Legionnaires or other such encounters. On Hard Battles, the Ai units get minor bonuses, on VH battles they get major bonuses.
